Guru Nanak Mission High School is one of the top schools in Mumbai Suburban. Guru Nanak Mission High School medium of instruction is English and it is affiliated to the State board and runs classes from Junior Kg to Std 10th.

1st Sikh guru The name Guru Nanak Mission High School comes from the name of Guru Nanak Devji (Our First Guru). Was born on 15th April 1469 at Talwandi in the Sheikupura district of west Punjab Guru Nanak was the only son of Mata Triptaji and father Mehta Kalyan Das, also known as Mehta Kalu. Guruji combined in himself a recluse and humble person.


Guruji broke the barriers of caste. According to Guruji, in his eyes there was no higher or lower caste. Guruji rejected the privilege acquired by birth. Guruji fraternized with the poor and the downtrodden, a peasant and a hard worker. The whole  world was one family for him. Guruji respected other religions. Guruji spoke many languages. Guruji believed in Humility and Simplicity, singing hymns lost in the name of the almighty WaheGuru. Guruji insisted on the common kitchen, so that the curse of the caste system could be abolished  from our  society.
